Good, sturdy item. At first glance, it doesn’t look too much like a wolf to me. Something canine, yes. But, a wolf didn’t come into my mind right away. It almost looks like a dragon in a way. However, when you compare it to other Viking jewelry that depict a wolf, the representation is similar. It’s rough & primitive style is intentional to give you the feeling that it was crafted & worn centuries ago. If you are going for that kind of a vibe, this is definitely for you. It is not a thick, solid piece of metal. It is hollowed out in the back of the pendant to take away some of the weight. This helps make wearing it a little more comfortable, I believe, without losing any of the metal’s durability.
