Made from 5160 spring steel, this functional medieval sword features a double-edged blade with tapered sides. A tapered fuller runs down the center of the sharpened blade. In addition, it has superior edge retention with marquenched HRC 50-52 edges. The harmonically balanced sword continues with a cruciform crossguard. Next, the Viking sword has a wooden grip. Cord and then black leather wraps around the grip. The hilt ends with a brazil-nut pommel. Finally, this sword comes with a black leather-covered scabbard. It has a steel chape. There is a belt ring near the throat. You can take this medieval sword to your next historical reenactment or add it to a sword collection.

In case you don’t know, Michael “Tinker” Pearce is a WORLD FAMOUS knife and sword maker. This sword is his design, and has his approval. Awesome, full tang peened pommel Norman sword. You can’t go wrong with this sword. The grip is relatively short, so people with big hands may find it a fault, though. Spectacular fully functional weapon. ….McM
