In their harrowing journey, Bilbo and his Company of Dwarves came upon a troll lair. There they found two Elven swords, Glamdring, and Orcrist, and a knife. Bilbo claimed the knife for himself, and it was more of a sword to someone of his stature. He wielded the sword through most of the quest, famously using it against the Giant Spiders of Mirkwood to save the Company of Dwarves. After Bilbo had slain his first spider he declared that he would name his sword, and the name he gave the blade was Sting.
This brown leather scabbard is a licensed replica of the actual Weta Workshop prop wielded in the Lord of the Rings films by New Line Cinema. It is designed to fit the Frodo and Bilbo versions of the Sting Sword (UC1264 and UC2892 respectively), sold separately. The brown scabbard has a solid metal chape and throat. The throat angles down to one side. Meanwhile, the chape forms a long curl at the top. Together, the chape and throat enhance the look of the scabbard. It also includes a belt strap. This scabbard looks great added to any LOTR collection or fantasy decor. It also makes a wonderful gift for any fan of the Lord of the Rings series.
