Featuring a highly adjustable design, the Steel Vladimir Tasset Belt consists of two tassets with a layered, segmented construction attached to a sturdy leather buckled belt. The tassets are secured to the belt with eyelets and cord, making them removable for readjustment to best suit the wearer. The 18 gauge steel plates are decorated at their edges with rivets, adding interest to this functional leg armour. - This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. I gave 5 stars because 4.5 isnt an option. However with that being said the only reason for my rating is because it doesn’t mention in the description that the cords to attach the tassets to the belt are not included. I’ll have to figure out something for that which isn’t a problem, but wanted to let everyone else know. The quality of the tassets themselves and the belt are very nice and well worth the price. I wear a size 44 waste (mens US sizing) and the belt by itself fits nice with some extra room to tighten or loosen as needed. Everything looks great and will work perfectly for my outfit.
