The Steel Markward Gauntlets come in an elongated design with an integrated cuff that provides extra protection to the forearm of the wearer. The steel gauntlets display a bright metal finish that goes great with other steel armour. The long steel gloves are crafted in a six-piece design that enables excellent movability and allows free rotation of the wrist. Several buckled straps secure the metal gauntlets to the hands and allow adjustments in the fit. Rivets add detail to this design, making it a striking addition to your LARP ensemble.

Love these gauntlets! They are exactly what I as looking for in a demi-gauntlet. If I could upload a photo I would, as these things look amazing. They also allow for a decent amount of mobility. For the price, I am extremely happy with this purchase, so long as they stand the test of time. And from the looks of it, they should do just fine.

These are certainly some nice gauntlets. I wouldn’t say they’re the best though. There’s only one main issue that bothers me, and it involves the top strap going around the fingers.
It is incredibly uncomfortable, as the rivet that keeps the strap on the plate digs into the finger when fastened. And it keeps me from getting a good grip on anything, let alone a sword or other weapon. Other than that these aren’t bad, and you can simply just not use the top strap.

These gauntlets are a good starter, they articulate fairly well around the hand, and cover a good portion of the forearm. Only issues I note are the strapping, which could be more accurately placed, but for an off the rack piece they are set rather well, and the piece at the knuckles, you may need to bend it out a little in order for the plate to sit correctly. Overall, still a solid piece for starters.
