Short Fantasy Scimitar

A scimitar is a powerful cutting weapon. The blades curve adds more draw to the weapons slash, making for a more powerful, longer cut. This principle has been applied to the Short Fantasy Scimitar, to make a knife worth using to cut things. This wicked little blade looks like a larger scimitar but lacks the size. Instead it is small enough to be a side-arm. After a short ricasso, the blade begins a gentle curve back until it reaches its apex, where it promptly re-curves out, before the actual blade terminates and flattens into the spine of the blade. A knifes blade is decorated by a single symbol, as well as a segmented blood groove, also known as a fuller. The guard is a circular sheet of steel, which gives rise to the grip. A spiraling pattern of black and silver curves and widens slightly, negating the need for a traditional pommel by giving the grips bottom all the weight needed to counter-balance the blade.
