You know that many wish to prevent the success of your mission. You make sure to guard yourself from attack with the Polished Steel Scout Leg Guards. Made from 19 gauge mild steel, these polished greaves come as a pair. They are available in three sizes and secure to the legs with straps. Rivets secure the straps in place. Each greave has a curved cutout near the ankle to provide greater mobility. They also have a pointed edge near the knee. In addition, there is a pointed ridge near the knee, creating a border effect. Their streamlined design has a versatile look. A variety of medieval and fantasy characters look great in these greaves. The Scout Leg Guards are great for LARP events, cosplay conventions, and more.

Being a relatively small person, it’s hard to find greaves that don’t engulf my legs. These fit the bill perfectly, and we’re a great purchase alongside the scout gauntlets.

I got the extra large size so I could fit some padded greaves between these and my boots, and it turned out great! This armor didn’t shift or chafe at all, and held up to a whole weekend of roleplaying and fighting in rain and shine. Looks just fancy enough to accentuate a kit, but plain enough to customize or reuse.

Beautiful pieces. Straps are high quality leather and the holes are evenly punched and consistently spaced.
I did have some confusion when I initially received them. I had expected the measurements given to correspond to the width of my legs at the respective measurement points, but in reality the measurements given in the chart correspond to the total span of the metal plate, and you may need to bend the guards wider or narrower to best fit your leg. I don’t think of this as a negative, as it means you can guarantee the guard fits your leg perfectly, and bending it to shape is easy enough to do even without any tools. I just let mine get warm in front of a space heater then wrapped it in a towel and pressed it against a rigid piece of furniture.
