Beautifully polished, the length features triple fullers for lighter weight and better maneuverability. The basket hilt covers a wood grip wrapped in rayskin and decorative wire. Just got this sword. No tassle and is not battle ready, did not come sharpen. Good workman ship and well balanced. I like the sword just not what was expected. Also the look is right on.

UPDATE: Just talked to customer rep and found out the supply co. changed for a pompom to the fringe, not MCI’s fault. Also the blade is sharpened, but only about 1/3rd to 1/2 the way down, my fault for not checking the whole blade. Therefore i am changing my rating.
