Sabatons – Polished Steel

Warriors like yourself do not leave anything to chance. You protect all of your body, including your feet with the Polished Steel Sabatons. Made from 19-gauge mild steel, these foot guards come as a pair. They are available in three sizes. The medieval sabatons feature multiple overlapping plates to cover the front and top of the foot for greater flexibility. Rivets secure the plates together. In addition, rivets attach two thin straps to the bottom of each sabaton to help ensure that it moves with the foot. There is also a leather plate along the back of the foot. This leather plate has two thin straps on top that adjust with buckles to help secure each sabaton onto the foot. The Polished Steel Sabatons works great for Renaissance faires, LARP events, and more.

Care Instructions:

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil.
