Warrior, you stand before the horizon awaiting your enemy. You do not fear their approach while you wear the Rikomer Steel Cuirass. Made from 18 gauge steel, this silver cuirass features a chest plate and a back plate connected with leather straps. There are two straps on each side. There are also riveted straps at the shoulders. These straps help to secure the cuirass on the wearer and slightly adjust the fit. Both the chest and back plates feature a buckle for attaching other pieces of armour such as the Rikomer Steel Gorget (MY101069), not included. They also have a round neckline with rolled edging.
Next, the chest and back plates have a unique overlapped design for greater mobility. The chest plate has six articulated sections. Internal leather straps connect the different sections to each other. Rivets secure the sections to the straps. This articulation allows for greater mobility. All of the sections have the same dual piece construction. Each section has a concave curve on the top piece and a curved point on the bottom piece.
On the back, there are five sections. These sections also have a dual piece design. However, both pieces have a curved point design. In addition, the back plate has two raised, round shapes near the shoulder blades. The Rikomer Steel Cuirass looks fantastic at your next faire, LARP battle, or cosplay convention. It works with a variety of characters.
