This is a great piece…good quality, attractive, and functional. Although it seems to be meant for foam weapons, it worked well for two metal swords. Thinner swords will not fit well, but wrapping a cloth around the scabbard solved this problem for me. The straps are fairly thin but seemed sturdy and did not cause any discomfort.

The leather lacings are pretty brittle and short (for accommodating wider weapons) – I replaced with long boot laces. I’ll probably rig up a strap that comes across the chest – removing and replacing weapons makes the harness shift somewhat. Also, the rivets in the back piece (I presume for airflow) were a little jagged and might catch on clothing. However, given the price and the purpose, it’s a useful piece. I’ll make some simple modifications to it and it’ll be great!
