This statue goes back further than any other that we offer. This Queen of Heaven Statue draws heavily from the mythos of the Babylonian deity of war and love, and brings to you a stunning design that represents the goddess Ishtar, in all her glory. Ishtar was the personification of Venus, and her favor was said to be powerful and exquisite, but also very costly. This impressive statue depicts the goddess on wings as she floats behind a great set of carved rings and half-rings, bound together by flowing, curved vine-like projections. These filigree workings are star charts, which depict the symbols of the zodiac. The second ring features a line inspired by the Hymns of Inanna. Set at the goddess feet is a pair of monstrous hounds, as well as a pentacle adorned with twinkling stars. The statue is crafted entirely in fine resin materials, and it is offered in two finishes, either wood or stone. Either are amazing in their look, which means that the fine detailing of this Queen of Heaven Statue makes it an incredible collectible for any mythology buff to own. After all, it is not often you find statues dedicated to the deities of ancient Babylon.
