If you wish to fight under the banner of King Arthur, make sure to protect yourself by carrying the Pendragon Shield in combat. This medieval shield features a layered wooden construction. 16 thin layers of wood form the shield for additional durability and reduced weight. This shield has a ridge that runs down the center. The ridge smooths out into the rest of the shield.
At the top, the shield has a wavy edge that angles outwards and down at the ends towards the sides. The sides curve inward, then out, before angling back towards each other to form a point at the bottom. This shield has a horizontally split design. The upper half is a tan color, while the bottom half is red that darkens towards the tip. In the center, there is a dragon standing rampant. It faces left. The dragon is tan with a black outline. In addition, the shield has a battle-worn look with faux scrapes and cracks.
On the back, rivets secure the cotton around the edges of the Pendragon Shield. The back also has a closed-cell foam backing covered in full-grain leather. The black leather matches the adjustable strap for securing the shield onto an arm. There is also a wooden grip for grasping the shield. You can take this functional shield onto the battlefield at a historical reenactment. The Pendragon Shield also makes a great cosplay accessory as well.
