Regardless of setting or role, your LARP character will benefit from the defense and mobility offered by the Osric Leather Brigandine. This armour is modeled after the plated coats worn by various warriors throughout the Middle Ages. The Justus Suede Tabard serves as the base to this brigandine. Plates of thick, upper leather are riveted over its suede leather surface. Adjustable leather straps close it at the chest. Leather lacing customizes the fit on either side of the waist. Front and back slits create more freedom in movement.

Materials:
- Made from suede leather
- Plates are 7-8 oz. upper leather
Care Instructions:
- Remove dirt with a hard brush, then gently clean with leather soap and a soft, damp cloth. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth, then use a dry cloth to wipe away remaining water. Looks and fits great. I am actually in the process of replacing the leather plates for metal ones and the rivets they used can be easily broken off and they can be found online, too.

I’m 5’9″ 145lbs so not a big guy and the small fits perfectly! I wore it Viking weekend at our local renfest and got a few compliments. I ordered the green one and it’s dark like the picture shows.

I’m about 5’9″ 140lbs like the other reviewer, but I ordered a medium/large because I knew I would have a shirt/gambeson underneath the brigantine and this worked out perfectly. The medium/large is still pretty small actually. I have a waist of 30″ and it works perfect for me when having two layers underneath. The quality is also great. I would say to order one size bigger if you know you will have multiple layers.
