I love this Frog, it’s so versatile. It might even be more versatile than the description gives it credit for. It’s marketed for tankards, swords, and daggers, but it works particularly well for tools and weapons with odd shapes that wont work with most other frogs. If you have something that widens at both ends but is thin in the middle, the smaller snap-on loop will likely see you through your frogging needs, just snap on the larger loop under a cinch or over a belt, and you’re set.
There are some other frogs that would have been able to accommodate my particular needs too, but this leather frog brought with it a relatively quick means of holstering and unholstering my arms by way of it’s snap-on buttons. At first I was worried that they would not be able to holdup the weight of a weapon larger than a rapier and stay fastened, but not once did they fail me during a days’ outing to the fairgrounds.
It may not be flashy, but it will do it’s job, and it will do it well.
