This breastplate will protect the important stuff! This polished steel breastplate covers the front of your torso, held tight by leather straps that run through a steel ring at the back. The sides of this steel and leather breastplate are adjustable thanks to buckled straps, while the top is secured by overall style buckles. Made from 19 gauge mild steel, this mercenary breastplate is designed to be easy to put on and sturdy enough to withstand the abuse of LARP or reenactment battles with regular care. Add a light, but sturdy, flair to your LARP outfit or reenactment costume and keep yourself safe!

- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. Really great product! Sturdy, clean and good looking. Can’t complain one bit! Its not an easy piece to put on by yourself, but its all good – it can be done ! I wish they would of had the dark one in stock, but the steel one still looks great!

This turned out great. I was a first time buyer and wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s great quality and looks like the images. Feels like real armor and not a prop or toy. Im a medium/large build and got the large/XL size first, which was too big. Return was easy and I got the small/medium as a replacement which was perfect.
