The ornament has a circular shape with a section at the top. The diamond-shaped section has a loop of rustic twine string for hanging. On the ornament, there is an engraved design on one side. This design features a sword pointing down with three arrows pointing other directions in a compass-like pattern. Around the edges of the ornament, there is a repeating knotwork pattern. Just inside of the knotwork edges, there is a ring that looks like the rim on a warriors shield. The other side of the ornament is blank.
