I just recieved my sword today, the first order i ever placed with Medieval Collectables. Let me first say that thier customer servive was top notch.
I believe this sword to be a good beginner piece, and
The sword definately exceeded my expectations for a $60 sword!
Apears sturdy, and well put together. It allso has a nice ring to when it taps another blade….i made the purchase for a play involving a sword fight,,,so that ring is important on stage, along with not falling apart.
It was well packaged, and lightly coated in a light grease that cleaned off with a paper towel and some mineral spirits, .
The sheath that came with it allso exceeded my expectation and apears to be well put together and definately servicable for packing it around in at an event.
I do not care for the handle wrapping, which is a little slick, but for under $60 bucks i am not going to complain, and since i have some top grain leather laying around i will just re wrap it,
It feels and looks like a well made piece. And for the beginning re enactor, or midieval enthusiast this is a good , well made budget priced sword to get started with.
I plan to get a lot of use out of him.
