Made of shred resistant foam, this medieval mace is safe and sturdy for live action roleplay. This medieval LARP mace has a steel tone orb as the central aspect of its head, topped with a spike and surrounded by brass tone flanges that extend down to the long, steel tone shaft. After the shaft is a leather-wrapped handle followed by a round, steel tone pommel. Inside the closed cell foam structure is a flexible and sturdy fiberglass core with a Kevlar-protected tip for extra safety. A protective latex coating gives the foam durable resilience against everyday wear and tear. This medieval pole weapon will definitely leave a noble impression on all who oppose you when you add it to your LARP arsenal.

Care Instructions:
- Latex weapons need to be maintained to a certain degree. We offer a 100 ml LARP Protection Gel Silicone (MCI-3722) that can be purchased separately in the LARP Accessories section. We recommend that you use this silicone on a regular basis. It will keep the coating flexible, which will make the weapon last much longer. The maintenance silicone also protects the coating from drying out and helps the weapon resist general wear and tear from normal use.
- Store latex weapons flat or on the pommel, never on the tip, and in a cool, dry environment. Use a towel or sheet to protect the LARP weapon from adhering to plastic or rubber surfaces.

This is a very high-quality piece. A few things to note-
– It has a very light handfeel to it. I was expecting it to feel a bit more hefty but even my larp longsword feels heavier despite having a smaller visual profile.
– Despite the aforementioned lightness, it’s quite sturdy. I gave my standing punching bag quite a few good bonks with it and it did not appear to affect the mace at all.
– If you look closely at the shaft of the mace, it appears to be a bit “glittery” for lack of a better word. This does help make it look textured but when viewed closely it seems to sparkle.
– The leather material the handle is wrapped in feels very nice. I’m not sure if it’s real or imitation but it seems to be holding up very well.

I have already reviewed this weapon once before but I have to give it extra credit.
I was traveling to a convention with a friend when I realized I left this mace on top of the car. It fell off the top of the car and into traffic, where it was then run over by another car before we could retrieve it. Aside from some minor scuffs on the finish it was still completely intact and functional.
