If you enjoy the classic style of the original Warrior Pauldrons, but like the intimidating flair and increased defense that sword breakers provide, then take a closer look at this deluxe version of the Warrior shoulder armour. Crafted from 18-gauge mild steel, these pauldrons offer solid protection on the LARP battleground. Following a traditional design, this armour fits just about any period for any character. Each pauldron features a large shoulder plate with four smaller lames that protect the upper arm. A simple row of studs trails along the rolled edges of each metal plate. Adjustable buckle straps secure the pauldron at the shoulders and above the elbow.
Please be aware that these items are handmade. Slight deviations in pattern, color, and shape may occur.
To properly maintain your steel armour, always keep the metal pieces away from water and lightly oiled to prevent rusting. Occasionally clean the armour with metal polish and re-oil them. Leather care products must be used to maintain the leather fittings as well.
When purchasing armour pieces, in order for the pieces to be compatible, it is best to stay within the brand.

Awesome piece. Sturdy, well-articulated and wears comfortabley. Looks amazing. My only complaint is that it doesn’t feature any means to secure it to a gorget or around the shoulder. Only one strap across the bicep. It does have a buckle to attach it to a breastplate.

I am 5″9, 150 pounds. The word “Large” worried me. But I think I pulled it off!

Fits pretty well! Shipping was super fast too! Wish you can hear the sound the armor makes when I swing my sword! 😀

They look great, and work well with the “Warrior Gorget” from the same style of armor. Bicep buckle for mine came broken, but customer service handled it quickly. There was a little bit of rust on the underside, but it is not anything anyone will see unless they are rooting around under the plates.

I wore more form fitting pauldrons before and this set is much larger and more imposing. The belts are durable and appear to be .75 inches wide. They did not limit my movement very much at all and despite their size did not weigh me down that much. You may run into issues wearing a helm with this set. Something like a full helm that reaches more to the bottom of your neck will bump into the shoulders a lot. A smaller helm that only reaches the top of the neck should be okay and only bumps if you raise your shoulders above high.

Yes, they fit with the gorget. Yes, it’s possible to put the whole rig on by yourself (though not recommended.) If you’re going to go with just these and the warrior gorget, it’s going to take a little but of tweaking to get everything to sit right and put it all on without any help. Once you get that out of the way, they look great, don’t weigh you down, and don’t inhibit movement very much. A nice, thick gambeson makes them look even more imposing.

Fits great! I paired this with the Urien Steel Gorget and 15th Century Steel Full Arm Armor. It fits and looks epic, and it even ate some hits from the Hand & A Half Training Sword by Cold Steel. You’ll definitely need some help getting into it, the buckle that secures the pauldrons to the gorget is a tricky one. You won’t end up using one strap inside these pauldrons if you do use a gorget, but I’m assuming that one strap is for looping around a breastplate or some other type of armor. All around, great product!
