Lambert Gorget

The neck is a vulnerable spot on the body when fighting in a battle. Guard your neck against attack with the Lambert Gorget. Made from 18-gauge mild steel, this gorget comes in two parts. The front piece has a concave curve at the top for the neck. Its bottom edge forms a curved V-shape. There is a ridge running vertically in the center. The front piece has buckles for attaching the back piece.

The back piece has two plates that connect in the center with a piece of leather riveted to the interior of the plates. This interior leather piece adds flexibility that makes it easier to put on and take off the armour. Both plates have a wavy bottom edge. The wavy edges angle downward into a point in the center. The plates have curves that rest on top of your shoulders. They also feature narrower straps that connect the front piece to the back piece. There are wider straps with buckles for attaching other pieces of armour like the Lambert Pauldrons (MY101542), sold separately. Both the front and back pieces have rolled edges for safety. Wear the Lambert Gorget with your next roleplaying costume for a unique touch. It looks great on a variety of characters.

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil.
