Plate armour worthy of a medieval warrior, these shoulder guards have a rounded, layered style and are made of 16 gauge steel with a polished finish. Three overlapping layers of steel attach to the bottom edge of the rounded top plate. Leather straps at the top of the shoulder and each side of the bottom plate layer help secure them in place. These medieval steel shoulder guards are sold as a pair. Whether you are putting together a plate armour outfit or simply adding an extra piece of detail to any medieval or fantasy look, these Knights Steel Pauldrons are great for protecting your shoulders.

- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. great item, I only wish more detail was provided on the attachment method so I would have known what they were easily compatible with. But I made my own straps.

These are relatively straightforward pauldrons. The Besagews under MHR-A1270 attached well to them, and they are pretty sturdy.
The only reason this is not a 5-star review, is that the manufacturer went with about 10oz leather without enough room to flex. They should have gone with about 6oz. I had to break the retaining straps in heavily for the lames to move. This isn’t a horrible issue, but something to note when purchasing.
