One of the twelve labors of Hercules was the slaying of the multi-headed monster, Hydra, shown in the Hercules Battling the Hydra Statue. Made from cold cast bronze, this statue shows the hero wielding a sword in his right hand. He holds one of the monsters heads in his left hand while he looks down at another one of the blue heads. Hercules wears a red battle skirt and the hide of the Nemean lion on his head. Meanwhile, the blue monster forms a coiled knot at Hercules feet. The monster has four heads. Below the monster is a plaque that reads HERCULES. Overall, the stature has a rich bronze coloring. This Hercules statue makes a great addition to any mythology collection or home decor.
