Made from suede leather, this black overlay is available in two sizes and does not come with a mask. Designed to cover the rest of the head, it features a series of rigid plastic plates. These plates articulate to create a wonderful combo of protection and mobility. Overall, between the plates and padding, the hood helps to absorb impacts from blows. Next, there are two ventilation holes on each side to allow body heat to escape without sacrificing protection. Finally, the hood secures to the head with a webbing strap that has Velcro attached. The Red Dragon Armoury logo adorns this red strap. Wear this leather mask overlay with other protective gear at your next HEMA spar.

This fencing mask overlay is very high quality. It fits well over my mask and I like the extra head protection it provides. I feel a little bit silly wearing it, but that beats a concussion any day.
