On each side of the grey mug, there is a depiction of the winged creature created by HP Lovecraft. It first appeared in 1928. This creature has a squid-like head with tentacles and a pair of bat wings. It also has a set of claws. There is a bumpy texture on the flying cephalopods forehead. Each creature stares straight at the viewer.
Along the top of the mug, there is a border of mini tentacles intertwined with each other. Green highlighting adorns the tentacle border and the monster.
