These boots look great! Exactly as pictured. I would though recommend anyone who purchases them to do two things:
First, I’d cut all the buttons off. They aren’t held on very well and ARE going to pop off on their own. Replace them with rivets from a craft store. I got rivet buttons that you would use on blue jeans.
Second, get a set of gel inserts. I wore mine at my Renaissance themed wedding reception and after a few hours my feet were not happy.
With those two mods, I can’t recommend these boots enough.

The boots are as advertised, and a comfortable fit. That being said, the boot naturally closed around my calf quite snugly, so didn’t NEED the lace to tighten them. Was very comfortable to wear for several hours at the Renfair the three times I wore them this season. The sole has a good tread, and they looked stylish. So, excellent value for the money.
