It has a long rectangular shape. There is a front flap at the top that secures with a strap and buckle. Underneath the flap, the pocket has a deep concave curve at the top. This allows for easy access to the handles of your cutlery pieces. Cutlery does not come included. On the back, there is a loop for sliding it onto a belt, not included. Add the Friedhelm Cutlery Pouch to your reenactment, camping, roleplaying, or cosplay gear. It is a versatile piece of equipment.

I have much of the Friedhelm series of pouches. I wanted a matching pouch to put my feast gear in.

No regrets on this purchase. I like the versatile design & it’s just what I needed to carry around my cutlery. Most of my cutlery did not come with a pouch & this one works great! I do have a sheath for my knife & forks sets, but they only come with a leather string to tie it to your belt. So, I stick the whole works in this pouch. Sheath and all. I would much rather carry it around in this pouch on my belt. It feels much more secure. The suede leather is soft, supple, yet durable. However, it doesn’t have a reinforced bottom on it, so if you carry your knives & forks around loose in this pouch, they could foreseeably poke a hole through the suede. The price was extremely fair for the quality material & craftsmanship that you get in return. I bought one in Brown, but may just get the Black one, too. They are roomy enough that you could fit other things in there with your cutlery or you can use it for something other than cutlery altogether. I happily recommend this item as it would make a great gift idea for someone you know.
