The Dark Drake Steel Arm Bracers provide necessary protection against blows during LARP combat. This set of forearm guards features a raised pattern that not only aids in deflection, but also creates a unique look for your character. Made from 18-gauge mild steel, the arm bracers possess a dark metal finish, coated with a rust and scratch resistant treatment. A scale-like pattern with raised ridges, rivets, and rolled edges increase the defensive power of these bracers. Two buckle straps, made from top-grain leather, secure each bracer to a forearm. To properly maintain your steel armour, always keep the metal pieces away from water and lightly oiled to prevent rusting. Occasionally clean the armour with metal polish and re-oil them. Leather care products must be used to maintain the leather fittings as well.

Care Instructions:
- This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting. Occasional oiling is necessary for the proper maintenance of this armour. When storing this armour, protect it from oxidation by coating it with machine oil. I wear Kevlar sleeves when I’m at work, I work with wire, the sleeves will stop you from getting cut and poked by wire, but they don’t dampen the wire slaps or blows, bought the bracers and now changeovers are a breeze now. Worth the money, plus the guys at work think its cool to.

This is the first plate piece I ordered and I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the quality and fit are well worth it. I’m 5’10” and 150 lbs., and medium fits perfect over a gambeson with room for hourglass gauntlets and (smaller) elbow protection. If you don’t like the brown leather straps, black leather dye will easily resolve the issue.
