As many avid collectors of weapons know, the gladius was the weapon of choice in Ancient Rome. This Layered-Steel and Rosewood Gladius enhances the look of that classic sword with brilliant Damascus steel and a gorgeous wooden handle. Made of carbon steel, the blade of this sword features the rippling design of Damascus steel that has been in existence since before the Common Era. The rounded guard of the gladius features steel and brass accents for a touch of gleaming details. Featuring curves for a solid grip, the handle is made of quality rosewood. A stitched leather scabbard is included with the gladius, giving you the chance to carry the sword as a part of your Roman ensemble or to keep it safe from scratches in your display. Any Roman foot soldier, let alone any collector of stunning weapons, would be proud to own a sword as beautifully crafted as the Layered-Steel and Rosewood Gladius.

This sword is beautiful, but also heavy, you need to be strong and practice in order to handle it properly.
The only bad thing is the holster, tue quality of this one is bad, but the sword itself is just as expected.
