When you wish to head into battle as an ancient Chinese warrior, you should make sure that you wield the Dadao against the enemy. Made from 1566 high-carbon steel, this functional sword features a single-edged blade. Based on the traditional Chinese broadsword, the blade has a curved design similar to a scimitar. Two thin fullers run down most of the blades length near the spine. There is a hole at the end of the spine near the tip.
The sword continues with a brass guard. The arms of the guard begin straight and then bend at right angles. One of them bends towards the spine, while the other bends away from the edge of the blade. This design helps to protect the wielders hand. The sword continues with a red cord-wrapped handle. It fits both a one-hand and a two-handed grip. The hilt ends with a ring for a pommel. Finally, this sword comes with a black sheath. The sheath secures the sword in place with two straps along the spine. This Dadao is an ideal weapon for any warrior at a historical reenactment.
