Take to the battlefield with cunning, skill, and the Cluny 15th Century Longsword in hand as you bravely face the enemy. This sword is worthy of many knights, mercenaries, and other fierce warriors.
Made from C60 high-carbon steel, this medieval German sword takes its design from a 15th century original from the National Museum of Medieval Art in Paris. This tempered medieval sword has an unsharpened, double-edged blade. The blade has tapered edges. Its diamond cross-section allows it to work well for both cutting and thrusting.
The knight sword continues with an S-shaped crossguard. One arm of the guard curls towards the front, while the other curls towards the back. The blackened guard also has a leather rain-guard. Its rich red coloring matches the grip. Red leather covers the ridged wooden grip.
The two-handed hilt ends with a peened, disk-shaped pommel with chamfered edges. Both the pommel and guard are steel with a darkened finish. The sides have a series of angled grooves.
Finally, this medieval knight sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Red leather covers the scabbard. It has a blackened steel chape and throat.
You can carry this sword into battle with a sword frog and either a ring belt or buckle belt, sold separately. Take it to your next medieval reenactment or battle. Of course, when you are not taking this medieval longsword into battle, make sure to maintain it with some of our maintenance supplies.
