When you want to face the world as a classic samurai, make sure that you have the right blade in hand. Check out the Classic Tiger Tanto.
Made from folded K120C powder steel, this functional Japanese knife features a slightly upswept blade. A fuller, also called a bo-hi, runs along half the length of the blade starting at the brass blade collar, or habaki. In addition, the blade has a very visible temper line, also called a hamon.
Next, the sword features a short, rounded crossguard before the grip. The traditionally made handle features a black Japanese cotton wrapping. All of the hilt fittings are blackened-bronzed iron with gold detailing. The katana comes with a matching black sheath called a saya. Inlaid brass bamboo leaves adorn the saya.
This Japanese sword beautifully matches the Classic Tiger Wakizashi (SH12050) and the Classic Tiger Katana (SH12040). You can take this tanto with you to your next battle or add it to your weapon collection. When it is not in use, put it on a sword stand or keep it sharp with some maintenance supplies.
