You face your enemy as you get ready to strike them down and declare victory. You glimpse an opportunity through the Churburg Style Bascinet Helmet. Made from 14 gauge steel, this battle-ready helmet has a traditional bascinet helmet shape. It features a pointed face plate. The face plate has ventilation holes on the sides in a diamond pattern. There are two eye slots above the ventilation holes. Also, this face plate connects to the main helmet with pins on the sides of the head. The wearer can remove the pins and then take off the pointed face plate. Brass-colored accents adorn the top and bottom edges of the face plate. In addition, there are small, matching loops sit along the back of the helmet near the bottom edge. The Churburg Style Bascinet Helmet makes a fantastic addition to a variety of medieval roles.
Please note that steel thickness may vary slightly due to the handcrafted methods used in the manufacture of this item.

This is a very nice bascinet for the price. Good liner installed. Mine had an additional detent (not shown) that holds the visor in the raised position.
