Nice period looking braies to wear with chausses. The waist is very wide and the drawstring does not cinch down very well.

I just tried these on… annnnnd riiiiipppp! They jus…ripped. The look nice and I am having a great time practicing my sewning…however they are alittle on the fragile side. But they look nice!

Great concept, but prone to tearing. The crotch hangs so low that regular leg movement tends to tear the fabric at the sharp angles. I repaired them once, and am now trying to decide whether I should repair them again or take them apart and redesign them. I would suggest a wider central panel and a shallower rise.
