The haft curves at the bottom for a better grip. On the other end of the haft, there is the axe head. The axe head features a hand-forged finish. It has a bearded blade. A bearded blade is longer on the bottom than the top. While the axe blade curves slightly at the top, the axe head has a sharp curve underneath to form the bearded design. The Bearded Viking Axe is ideal for historical reenactments or as part of a weaponry collection.

Ok. I love the hatchet. The color of the handle is perfect. The head is perfect. The only issue I have with it is, the head is not seated securely on the handle. It wobbles a bit. Which means that I’m going to have to either drive another wedge in the top or put a couple of divots in. Hopefully I can do this without pushing the handle out of the head before it seats properly. So here we go. Did I say I love this hatchet? I love this hatchet.
