Brought back by popular demand, the Bastard Sword is a Windlass Classic blade. This massive broad sword could have easily been used at the Battle of Bosworth Field in 1485, cutting and slashing its way through the Tudor ranks. As large as this sword is, it is still amazingly light and well balanced. The wide blade is forged of high carbon steel, while the scent stopper pommel and cross guard have been antiqued with a darkened, aged finish. The large 7 inch handle is wrapped in soft black leather with a steel separator ring and can easily accommodate two hands. The fullered blade features unsharpened edges. A matching leather scabbard with steel locket and chape is included. This Bastard Sword makes an excellent addition to any medieval ensemble or display.
