No matter if you wish to fight as a member of the Landsknecht or another medieval warrior, wield the Bastard Sword in combat. Made from 1566 high-carbon steel, this functional sword features a double-edged blade with a fuller running down its center. It has an antiqued finish. The well-balanced sword continues with a curved crossguard. It curves towards the blade.
Then, the hilt has a black leather-wrapped grip. It has a ridge near the center to provide a more secure grasp. The hilt ends with a disk-shaped pommel. Both the pommel and guard are steel with an antiqued finish.
Finally, the Bastard Sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Brown leather covers the scabbard. It has a blackened chape and throat. You can take this medieval sword to your next historical reenactment or battle.

After owning a few Hanwei katanas, this is the first European sword that I’ve purchased form them and it’s a beauty. You get the same Hanwei quality and affordability as you do their Japanese swords. It might be kind of a reach to call this a bastard sword though. While not impossible, wielding it with one hand isn’t the most comfortable, I feel like it really is meant to be held with both hands.
