For the modern ninja or silent warrior, having a sleek blade on hand is essential. Check out the APOC Survival Tanto for your next mission. Made from 9260 spring steel, this functional knife features a gently curved, single-edge blade, typical of Japanese swords.
The full-tang blade has a black oxide finish and an edge hardness of 56 HRC. At the base, the blade has a small, hooked extension on the edge side. The hooked design functions as a crossguard to keep your hand from slipping onto the blade.
Designed by Angus Trim, the full tang sword continues with the straight G10 handle. Rivets secure the smooth, removable handle in place. Finally, this modern samurai knife comes with a black, fiberglass scabbard. The scabbard is MOLLE compatible. It has four slots for wearing the scabbard in different positions. Also, it has a hole for draining in wet environments as well as a quiet unsheathing mechanism. The sword locks into the scabbard.
Take this knife with you when you head out on tactical and survival missions. You can combine the tanto with the APOC Survival Wakizashi (SD35650) and the APOC Survival Katana (SD35510) for a fierce warrior sword set.
