This bodice is fine for what it is. I wasn’t terribly impressed with the fit. I found that it’s a bit loose, while still fitting a bit too high (making it hard the keep it under my bustline). The material looks great and the color is spot on. Also, the cord is way more authentic looking than the shoelace you usually get with these things. If you want a nice affordable option, it’s hard to beat.

This bodice is better than expected! An excellent basic for any garb closet. Well made, with durable and heavy material. The cord is also well made and doesn’t have plastic shoestring bits on the end, which is great! This could easily be fancied-up with some simple embroidery or a fancier cord replacement at home. I will very likely order this again in more colors!
