These pants are awesome! They’re baggy just above the leg ties which is to style, but not as baggy as some other pants. I prefer the look and feel to these pants for my faire outfit more than any other pants I’ve seen or owned. The price is a bit steep but the material feels strong and seems versatile enough to go with a wide variety of looks.

Glad I ordered next size up because I’m a 36 waist and if I didn’t get the 41 they wouldn’t have fit but other than that they fit perfect look great and cannot wait to wear them

I really like the way these pants look and feel. Very cool design. My only gripe is the color, I was expecting a dark brown (ordered brown) and the color is significantly lighter than the picture. Not a huge deal but kept me from being completely blown away by them. I might try to age them a little to darken them up.

These are a great pair of pants. I thought the fit ran just a little tight, but you should be able to loosen the strings to accommodate. The strings at the ankles are very useful when wearing these pants with tall boots, and the pockets are deep so you can hold everything you need while in costume. Overall I’m very happy.

I highly suggest ordering the next size up, especially if you have larger calf muscles. I like the feel of fabric, but I cannot currently speak to how these pants fit.

(Black; Lg) I normally wear a 34-36 waist in pants. These fit well enough, though I would purchase the next size up if I bought them again. In any case, they’re comfortable, well made, and look great. The fabric is light weight, but it’s holding up to a moderate level of use. The seams also seem strong.

Great Service from the staff at Medieval Collectables!! i purchased these for my trip to the Carolina Ren Faire. the arrived on time and were just what I was looking for. The material is super soft! and were great to wear with my outfit. I have a 33 in waist and I got the Red Large. I had to order this size because my calves and thighs are on the bigger side of the sizing chart. I did need to wear a belt to help keep them up on my hips, if I had more time, I prob would have ordered 2 sizes so I could try the smaller size on and return the other. All and All I am very pleased with the pants and will be ordering more from Medieval Collectables for myself and my son

Love these! They do ride a little low on the hip and a bit snug, so as has been mentioned, definitely order a size up. The fabric is durable, soft and breathes. I wear these as a base for just about every Ren Faire outfit I have. The tapered calves make it so much easier to get into tall boots, and the pockets are deep enough to hold just about anything. Having belt loops is a plus. Overall, a great pair of pants for a good price. Buying another pair soon!

Based upon the product images, I took these to be a lot more slim-fitting than they ended up being. As many of the previous reviews suggested, I ordered one size larger than the sizing chart suggested and this was undoubtedly part of the problem. Upon delivery, I was very pleased with the quality of the material and overall construction. When I tried them on, however, I found that they were enormous and billowy, which was not at all the aesthetic I was trying to achieve. I considered exchanging them for a smaller pair, but ultimately decided to return them and seek another product. That said, the return process was very easy.

I’m really impressed with these pants. I wanted the best possible ones, and I think I got them. Looks great, fits great, and nice material. With the belt loops I can buy an easier to use, and more functional belt for it.
