As an officer of the Roman empire, you know the value of carrying a proper blade. Wield the 5th Century Roman Spatha in your next battle. Made from EN45 high carbon steel, this sword comes with a double-edged blade. The blade has a hexagonal cross-section, which was popular for the 5th century. Based on a historical find, this sword has a wooden hilt. The hilt features a disk-shaped crossguard and pommel. A groove runs along the sides of each oval disk. Between the pommel and guard, there is a tapered grip. The faceted grip has two grooves, dividing the grip into three sections. Finally, this sword comes with a wooden scabbard. Red leather covers the scabbard. There is also a wooden handle on the scabbard. You can bring the 5th Century Roman Spatha with you to your next reenactment. It also looks great on display.
