Based on a historical find, this sword has a wooden hilt. The hilt features a disk-shaped crossguard and pommel. A groove runs along the sides of each oval disk. Between the pommel and guard, there is a tapered grip. The faceted grip has two grooves, dividing the grip into three sections. Finally, this sword comes with a wooden scabbard.
