Historically, the halberd was an effective weapon for a foot soldier against cavalry, and in skilled hands the weapon could dismount a knight and seal his fate. This decorative replica by Denix takes its design inspiration from polearms used from the late medieval to early Renaissance, such as the 14th to 15th centuries. This style of polearms was often used by Swiss and German knights. It has a wooden handle and a zinc-alloy blade. The Renaissance Halberd is ideal for roleplaying as a fearsome mercenary. You can also use it to decorate your castle walls.

We ordered this halberd for our wedding ceremony. The bride will have a Scottish guardsman to open the entrance door as well as stand guard so no one enters the staging area. It is a beautiful peace and perfect for our needs. It is not sharp so there is no need to cover the blade. Though not sharp, it looks authentic in that it is made of real metal and wood (not plastic). If you plan to use this for more than a show piece then it is not for you.

Super sick. Got it for a halloween costume, real metal, real wood, real everything. Only complaint is that the bottom half of the pole is a teeny bit wobbly due to it being screwed then nailed in, but it’s not so terrible. Overall great looking and awesome.

Good quality but cause the shaft is in two parts it was wobbly so i had to add sheets of paper to stiffen it up
