15th Century German Gauntlets

Add some finesse to your historic battle style with the 15th Century German Gauntlets. Handcrafted from 18 gauge steel, the curving edges of each metal segment are an elegant yet subtle detail suitable for the noblest of knights. The fingers of these gauntlets are articulated and are sewn to the leather glove underlayer at their tips. They are further held in place by leather loops, and adjustable buckled straps secure the body of the gauntlet in place on the hand of the wearer. The cuff, wide enough to allow mobility while remaining protective, is made up of two parts, a front and a back. These are attached to each other with a hinge on one side and can be adjusted with a leather buckled strap on the other.

Care Instructions:

• This armour will arrive to you covered in protective oil. While this oil can be removed, it must be replaced with another protective maintenance product to protect your steel armour from rusting.
