As a replica of a 15th century original known as the Harriet Dean Sword, the Alexandria Sword with Scabbard and Belt is a fierce fighting sword. Made from 5160 high-carbon steel, this functional sword has a tapered, double-edged blade. It features a triangular shape and a central ridge. This style of blade is great for piercing and slashing.

Also, the Oakeshott XVIIIc-style blade blade has a dual-tempered construction with a Rockwell hardness score of 60 at the edges. At the base of the blade, there is an acid-etched copy of the original Arabic inscription. The inscription translates to Donation of al-Malik al-Muayyad Abul Nasr Shaykh for the Arsenal in the Frontier Town of Alexandria in the Year 822. The year listed is 1419 AD.

The Alexandria Sword continues with a cruciform crossguard. The tips of the crossguard arms curve towards the blade. It also has a central ridge. The hilt continues with a tapered, two-handed grip. Brown leather wraps around the grip. The hilt ends with a peened, disk-shaped pommel. Both the guard and pommel are steel.

Finally, this sword comes with a brown leather scabbard with an integrated belt. The scabbard has a metal chape. This sword is a great weapon for wielding at historical reenactments. You can also add the Alexandria Sword to a weaponry collection.
