Medb, or Maeve, was a warrior queen who ruled Connacht in Celtic mythology. The Maeve Queen of Connacht Goddess Statue celebrates this queen. Made from cold-cast bronze, this hand-painted statue depicts the goddess queen sitting on a throne. Knotwork adorns the throne of the goddess. She wears a blue dress with a cape around her shoulders.
The goddess holds a sword in her right hand. It points down to the ground. There is a red shield resting against the sword. A golden spear leans against the throne.
A squirrel stands at her left arm, while a raven sits on her right shoulder. There is a horned skull above her head. A tree grows from the ground behind her throne. At the bottom of the statue, there is a plaque below her feet that reads Medb, another name for Maeve. This statue makes a great addition to any Celtic decor or mythology collection.
