Miniature Gallows

Authentically emulating the design of the capital punishment device known as the gallows, the Miniature Gallows is crafted from wood and employs the L-shaped design of a single vertical support attached to a horizontal beam. This is the simplest form of the gallows, displaying the uncomplicated way in which it operates. A rope is strung at the end of the horizontal beam with its end tied in an infamous noose. Supporting this structure is a square wooden platform that features a circular cutout beneath the noose, through which the victim falls. Further improving the authenticity of this design, a small set of portable steps reside next to this cutout, and a short ladder leans against the platform. The Miniature Gallows is an exceptional representation of the historical means of capital punishment.
