It has a visor in front. The gently curved visor features an inverted scalloped edge at the top. Below the top edge, there is a horizontal slot for you to see out of. Curved bars protect the slot from blows. Below the eye slot, there are ventilation holes on the sides in a grid-like T-shape as well as a ridge down the center. In addition, you can open and close the visor. It attaches to the helmet with hinges at the sides. The visor secures in place with a pin at the bottom. The helmet has a leather strap that wraps around the back of the head.
