When you wish to have greater control over honing your blades, use the Tri Hone Sharpening Kit to sharpen your knives and other functional blades. This set has a wooden base which holds a triple honing block and a 1 fluid ounce bottle of honing oil. The base has angled sides to hold the honing block. The honing block has three sides. Each side has a different grit. It has a fine, medium, and coarse grit. The block lifts out of the base so that a different grit can be used. This triangular block creates a more compact design as it keeps three different honing blocks in the same amount of space.
Also, at the end of the base, there is a slot for the honing oil. Add the oil to the desired stone and sharpen your blade. This triple honing kit is wonderful for anyone who cares about sharpening their blades.

I never thought that I would get excited about honing stones, but this kit is truly amazing! I suspected it would be decent from the description, but wow! – -I didn’t expect it would be as fantastic as it is! I already owned a very old honing stone, which has served me well; but it is of such very fine grain that I had to work very hard to hone a good edge even on ‘softer’ metals. I wanted a variety of stones and grains, because my swords, and knives, and daggers, are all of different types of high-carbon steels. So, I bought the Tri Hone Sharpening Kit because of its variety of stone grains. I am so very glad I did, because it is so much nicer than I thought it could be. Money well spent! It is larger than I thought it would be as well (which is good when honing larger blades, like a sword). I don’t buy unsharpened swords; but even when they come sharpened, I sharpen them more, (as factory edges are rarely very sharp). If you too are serious about wanting a fully functional, very sharp sword, knife, or dagger, this wonderful set is for you!
