   Wow! What a great pair of gloves! I’ve been eyeing these babies for months wondering if I should buy them or not. I am VERY reluctant to purchase articles of clothing like this online simply because you never know what your going to receive. Is it too big? Is it too small? Does it look like the picture in the listing? Are the sizing recommendations reliable? Nothing beats the experience of trying something on in person to know if it fits correctly. I did my homework & measured my dominant hand, as recommended. It measured out to be 9.25 inches around the knuckles with my hand closed…which put me in the Size 8 category. I had read somewhere before that when measuring your hand for a pair of gloves you should add half an inch to the tape measurement to come up with your correct size. That put my measurement up to 9.75 inches, or the Size 9 category. Since the Size 8 Black gloves were sold out, I had no other choice. I took a chance & it paid off. I purchased the last pair of Size 9 Black gloves & they were practically a perfect fit for me. Two of the ten fingers were a wee bit too long for me, but nothing serious. The fingers are nimble enough to pick up smaller objects, like a book, your cell phone, a baseball, or a mug/bottle of beer. But, you won’t be able to text on your phone with these on. Hand movement was pretty darn good, too. There is a very mild tightness when I clench my fist, but I expect that to get better as the gloves are broken in & the leather is stretched. At the very least, they won’t go flying off of my hands if I flick my wrists. They look amazing & the stitching appears strong & competently done. The leather is not too thick & not too thin. Your hands will be well protected. They have a dressy look, but can be put to work holding a sword, a polearm, or the reins of a horse. They’re a bit spendy, but I’m hoping that is due to the quality of the leather & the craftsmanship in constructing them. If they last a long time, then they are worth it. I still wonder how a Size 8 or even a 10 would feel, but I think I have the proper size. Delivery of this item was fast. I ordered them on a Monday night & had them by the following Friday afternoon. I highly recommend these gloves to others. I’m happy enough with this purchase that I will be purchasing a pair of the Brown gloves in this style. Thank you, Medieval Collectibles!

   Great pair of gauntlets / gloves. Have two pair, one for my daughter hers fit perfectly at a 7 just enough room, mine are a bit tight at an 8 and a 9 might have been just too big. Hand size is crucial for these. But overall an excellent purchase
