A versatile piece of medieval clothing, the Benedict Robes make a great layer for your characters costume. The medieval robes are crafted from textured cotton and are secured below the neck with a cotton tie-string and a soft leather plate. Whether they are worn open or closed, the long hooded robes allow ease of movement. The roomy sleeves, hood, and length offer excellent protection from the wind, rain, or sun. Designed in a classic cut, the monks robes can easily be adapted for religious or fantasy characters. The cotton robes come in black, dark red, and brown color options.
This cotton product feels nice to the touch and has enough heaviness to drape well. It has an irregular thread that gives it a textured appearance. Machine wash at 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Wash separately the first time and with similar colors afterwards. Tumble dry on low heat, but be aware that it might shrink up to 5 percent. For general stains or discoloration, treat with a commercial fabric cleaner or blot with tepid water and a soft cloth.

This is a great robe. It is absolutely huge and appears like it should be relatively warm as well. I removed the lacing at the neck to have the robe stay open (imagine Jedi/Sith style robes) and it is excellent. The sleeves are extremely long, which could get in the way for combat at larp events, but there is actually a seam at the wrist, when I fold the sleeves in at that seam and tape or pin the cloth in place, the sleeves are the absolute perfect length. Great item for a great price.

I confirm this IS a great robe! Emphasis on GREAT – the sleeves appear to be purposefully designed to fit extra long, allowing them to be cuffed back at the wrist – VERY nice look! The length, however, thankfully, runs true to size! The weight, quality, and weave of the cotton material is TOP notch, allowing a most comfortable and breathable, robust garment that drapes well on the body, and flows BEAUTIFULLY in the wind. I purchased it in Dryad Green, and plan to purchase another in Dark Red. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Thank you!!

Great costume on a budget, the quality is great for the price. We got some rope as a belt from a craft store and chains for around the neck from a hardware store and the costume looked very complete even before those accessories. Highly recommend this for people who don’t want an over complicated costume but still want to look official.
